05.2009 Moleskine, page 001 by Leptailurus serval ignis

Very heavily James Jean (www.jamesjean.com) inspired speedpainting. 2 hours. James Jean has been strongly influencing my work lately, the man is amazing and I am going to take some time to study his techniques. I'm certain I can learn a lot from him. His work is very similar to where I'd like mine to be some day.

Also: Moleskine sketchbooks are sooooo amazing. Such deliciously silky smooth paper... Mmmmmm *rubs sketchbook against face* <3

(PS: I am alive and posting again! I had quite a nice hiatus, and the purging of all my old works has really motivated me to push myself beyond my limitations! :])

Medium: India ink and gesso
Tags: wolf winged woof woof
